DEADLINE: IWMF Reporting Grants for Women’s Stories

Twice yearly, the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) offers Reporting Grants for Women’s Stories, a funding initiative supporting journalism produced by and about women, sponsored by The Secular Society.

The grants, averaging $5,000 USD, support reporting on untold stories surrounding issues that impact women and girls’ daily lives worldwide and are awarded to cover reporting-related costs including travel (flights, ground transportation, drivers), logistics, visa fees, post-production costs, and payment for fixers/translators. Open to professional journalists with three or more years' experience.

Next deadline is April 21, 2019. Applicants must have three or more years of professional journalism experience, and may apply concurrently for Reporting Grants for Women’s Stories and the Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists.
