Stakeholders from utilities, technology companies, ISOs, Congress, federal and state agencies, environmental groups, and research and consulting firms will meet in Washington, DC for this national forum.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Jon Wellinghoff will join other leading policymakers and business executives to address the role of energy efficiency in light of pending climate and energy legislation at the 21st Annual Energy Efficiency Forum.  Co-sponsored by Johnson Controls and the U.S. Energy Association.

Tom Brokaw is the scheduled roundtable moderator for this event designed to generate political support among policymakers for restoration of America’s Everglades and further raise the profile of its ecological and economic impact.

The United Nations Environment Programme appointed Pittsburgh to be North America's Host for World Environment Day (WED) 2010. This event is part of Pittsburgh's answer to the call.

Focus will be on three main themes: 1) Ensuring Survival: Oceans, Climate and Security; 2) Preserving Life: Marine Biodiversity; and 3) Improving Governance at National and Regional Levels and in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction.

The Plurinational State of Bolivia will host this conference on climate change with an expected attendance of  >10,000 people along with government  representatives from more than 50 countries, as well as many more via the Internet and in campaign actions on the final day of the conference, 22 April, Earth Day.

This first-annual, not-for-profit event aims to bring thousands of movie, arts and nature lovers to Gainesville, FL to see outstanding environmental films and art, learn about environmental and social justice issues, explore the area's natural treasures, connect with those working to protect them and create a more sustainable community.
